Jamie Campbell Bower is all praise for the upcoming third season of Prime Video's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. The third season is set to premiere on November 11.

"Charlie Vickers, who is playing Sauron, is amazing this season. I've been a fan of the show since season one. It's stepped up and up and up. And this season sort of takes us towards the sort of opening of those first movies that we know and love so well that came out sort of 2000-ish,” said Bower, through a statement to the press.

He added, "So, this season picks up five years after the end of season two. For those who know, Sauron is on this quest to craft the One Ring, you know? And this season, that is his sort of main drive, to destroy Middle-earth."

JD Payne and Patrick Mckay serve as showrunners and executive producers on The Rings of Power, which is based on appendices from JRR Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings.

The cast of the upcoming season includes Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Maxim Baldry, Morfydd Clark, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Ben Daniels, Kevin Eldon, Trystan Gravelle, Ciaran Hinds, Ema Horvath, Will Keen, Simon Pegg, Eddie Marsan, Rory Kinnear, and Daniel Weyman.
