The much-awaited The Mandalorian and Grogu hit theatres worldwide today, marking the big-screen return of the beloved characters from the series, The Mandalorian. Directed by Jon Favreau and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the sci-fi adventure film serves as a continuation of the hit Star Wars series that ran from 2019 to 2023.

Pedro Pascal returns as Din Djarin, also known as The Mandalorian, alongside Jeremy Allen White and Sigourney Weaver in pivotal roles. In an interview with Discussing Film, Pascal acknowledged two key members of the film's crew, who helped bring the iconic armoured character to life. "Brendan Wayne is somebody who has been with Jon since Cowboys and Aliens (2011), and has was part of (The) Mandalorian from day one. Lateef Crowder is a stunt fighter, that I have worked with on two other films," said Pascal.

He added, "In the Star Wars tradition, this kind of collaborative storytelling, was kind of like a community experience in a way." Pascal praised the duo for their contribution to shaping the character where the Mandalorian spends much of the run time in full armour.

With a runtime of two hours and 12 minutes, The Mandalorian and Grogu expands the story of the larger Star Wars franchise for a theatrical audience once again.
