Actor Grace Caroline Currey, known for her roles in Fall and Shazam!, is set to front the upcoming crime thriller Dead Miles. The film was launched at the Cannes Market.

Hailing from Minds Eye Entertainment, the film is directed and written by the Shut Eye helmer Tom Levesque, and is set to commence production in British Columbia.

The film follows Ellen (Currey), a struggling gig-worker, who wants to make it big as an influencer but is caught in a dark and dangerous web after encountering Nelson, a volatile criminal. Nelson drags her through a brutal night of violent heists that force her to test her endurance.

Currey made her debut in the 2007 film Badland. She went on to star in films such as Annabelle: Creation (2017), Shazam! films in 2019 and 2023, Fall (2022). She will next be seen in The Leader, directed by Michael Gallagher, alongside Tim Blake Nelson and Vera Farmiga.
