Actor Florence Pugh, of the Dune franchise, will act in and produce fantasy drama The Midnight Library, which will be helmed by Garth Davis, who has directed Lion.
Described as a "big budget love letter to life," the film has Pugh playing Nora Seed, who finds herself in a library while caught between life and death. She gets an opportunity to experience all the potential lives she could have lived.
Based on Matt Haig's popular novel, the film's screenplay is penned by Laura Wade (Rivals) and Nick Payne (We Live In Time). Studiocanal and Blueprint Pictures are backing the project. The film is set to enter pre-production early in 2027.
Last seen in Thunderbolts*, Pugh will reprise as Yelena Belova/Black Widow in Avengers: Doomsday and will play Princess Irulan in Dune: Part Three. Both films are set to lock horns on December 18, 2026.
