Matthew Lillard joins Man of Tomorrow

Matthew Lillard was last seen in Scream 7, which released early this year

Actor Matthew Lillard, who has had a busy year so far with the release of Scream 7 and series Cross and Daredevil: Born Again, has joined the Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow from DC Studios.

The new Superman film is written, directed, and produced by James Gunn, with David Corenswet in the lead role. While, Lillard's role in the film is not yet disclosed, he will be joined by Nicholas Hoult (Lex Luthor), Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), Lars Eidinger (Brainiac), Adria Arjona (Maxima), Sara Sampaio (Eve Teschmacher), Skyler Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen), Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl), Edi Gathegi (Mister Terrific), Nathon Fillion (Guy Gardner) and Aaron Pierre. Superman was released in July last year to an overwhelmingly positive response and struck gold at the box office worldwide.

In addition to Man of Tomorrow, Lillard will star in Behemoth! directed by Tony Gilroy, alongside Pedro Pascal and Olivia Wilde, among others.
