Apple has released the first look at Martin Scorsese's upcoming film What Happens At Night. The upcoming gothic drama, stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence in the lead.

Scorsese directs What Happens At Night from a screenplay by Patrick Marber, who has adapted Peter Cameron's novel of the same name. The film follows a couple who travel to adopt a baby from a small European town. They meet a range of interesting characters including a singer, a businessman, and a leader of a faith. As the couple spend their time in the town, they realise they know much less about each other than they realise.

The cast of What Happens At Night also includes Patricia Clarkson, Jared Harris, and Mads Mikkelsen.

Scorsese is producing the film under his Sikelia Productions banner, with DiCaprio, who backs the film under his Appian Way Productions banner, and Lawrence who is producing under her Excellent Cadaver banner. StudioCanal is also behind the project along with Apple Studios.

The upcoming film is the seventh collaboration between Scorsese and DiCaprio. Lawrence also reunites with DiCaprio after Adam McKay's Don't Look Up (2021).
