Actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson's upcoming heist thriller Fuze, directed by David Mackenzie is all set for release in India on April 24.
According to the official synopsis, Fuze “opens on the discovery of an unexploded World War II bomb in a London construction site sparking a mass evacuation which becomes the perfect cover for a heist.”
"As the tension mounts and time threatens to run out, it soon becomes clear that no one can truly be trusted," the plotline further reads.
The film is described as a story about "urgency, courage, and the unseen dangers that history can leave behind." "It's a thriller that keeps you invested from the first moment to the last," the makers said. Besides Taylor-Johnson, the star-studded film's cast also includes Theo James, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Sam Worthington.
The director is best known for films like Hell or High Water (2016) and Outlaw King. He is reuniting with Taylor-Johnson after the 2018 film Outlaw King.
The film is written by Ben Hopkins (The Nine Lives of Tomas Katz) and is produced by Gillian Berrie for Sigma Films and Sebastien Raybaud and Callum Grant for Anton. Anton is fully financing the film.
