We had recently reported that Abby Elliott has joined the star cast of The Kellys, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Liam Hemsworth, and Kelsey Asbille. The latest update from the makers is that the film is expanding with Oscar-winning actor Geena Davis joining.

Currently in production, The Kellys revolves around Jack Kelly, a disgraced NYC cop, whose wife Molly is taken hostage by terrorists. He now needs to join forces with his family, the people he fears the most. With Thunder Road Films producing, Brad Peyton is helming the Amazon MGM film with Tze Chun penning the script. It is not yet known what role will Davis be playing in the film.

Best known for her Oscar-winning and multiple Oscar-nominated films, The Accidental Tourist and Thelma & Louise, respectively, Davis has also starred in the Stuart Little films and A League of Their Own. Her most recent popular work was the Netflix sci-fi drama The Boroughs.
