The latest to join Amazon MGM's Honeymoon with Harry is actor Nicky Whelan (Hall Pass). The film, directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, stars Kevin Costner, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Sarah Pidgeon, with Rita Ora, Simone Kessell, and Orville Burrell rounding out the cast.

Whelan, known for Hall Pass, Knight of Cups, and Scrubs, will next star opposite James Franco in the road-trip movie Love Meets in the Sunshine.

With Whelan's role under wraps, the film is penned by Dan Fogelman. Based on the eponymous novel, the story follows a man (Gyllenhaal) with slight imperfections, who is teamed up in an unexpected and unwanted journey with his fiancée's (Pidgeon) irritable and overprotective father (Costner), only to be upended by a life-altering incident.

Fogelman and Mike Karz, under Gulfstream Pictures, and Jennifer Salke, under her Sullivan Street Productions banner, are producing the film.
