Actor Jonathan Groff has joined the Daniel Radcliffe-starrer Trust the Man, written and directed by William Graham. The Vietnam War thriller was announced last February.

Trust the Man reunites Groff with Graham, after their work in the Tony Award-winning revival of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along. Set to go on floors later this year, Trust the Man follows an ambitious Army Intelligence officer on an assignment to investigate a decorated soldier who has an enigmatic past during the Vietnam War. The investigation thickens, forging a very dangerous connection between the men.

Graham, Tonia Davis, Max Linsky, Luke Rodgers and Alex Scott are producing the film. In addition to Trust the Man, Groff will also be seen in Lin-Manuel Miranda's film adaptation of the musical Octet. His popular acting credits include Frozen films (2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019), American Sniper (2014), and The Matrix Resurrections (2021), the Netflix series from David Fincher, Mindhunter.
