We previously reported that Jennifer Garner will have a cameo in the reboot of her 2004 film 13 Going on 30. The latest update is that Taylor Zakhar Perez, Nasim Pedrad, Supriya Ganesh, and Owen Thiele are joining the star cast. Rounding out the cast are Charley McCain, Kai Zen, Audrina Miranda, and Henry Samiri.
The actors join the earlier announced cast of Emily Bader, Logan Lerman, Adeline Rudolph, Jessica Alba, Tim Meadows, Dan Bucantinsky and Taylor Ortega.
The original film, released in 2004 by Columbia Pictures, starred Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo. The film centres on a 13-year-old girl who suddenly wakes up as a 30-year-old woman. While she navigates the newfound adulthood, she also has to rediscover who she really is.
Filmmaker Brett Haley, who directed Netflix's hit romantic-comedy People We Meet on Vacation, is directing the 13 Going on 30 reboot with a script by Hannah Marks with revisions from Flora Greeson. Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum of RK Films are producing the new film.
