Travis Scott confirmed to be part of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey

Through an American television advertisement for Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, rapper Travis Scott was confirmed to be a part of the film. Before The Odyssey, Travis Scott collaborated with Christopher Nolan for Tenet, which included 'The Plan', as a part of its soundtrack.

The Odyssey is an adaptation of Homer's epic poem of the same name. Nolan is writing the film. In his third collaboration with Nolan, Matt Damon plays King Odysseus of Ithaca, who has to lead his men on a perilous journey home after the Trojan War. While the rapper's role in the film hasn't been revealed, he is shown to deliver a monologue, in front of Telemachus (Tom Holland), Odysseus' son, and Menelaus (Jon Bernthal), Odysseus' ally.

The cast of the film also includes Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Charlize Theron, John Leguizamo, Himesh Patel, and Mia Goth, among others.

Oscar winner Hoyte van Hoytema, handles cinematography for the film, meanwhile Oscar Winner Ludwig Goransson composes music.

The Odyssey is releasing in theatres on June 17.
