Streamer Apple TV announced on Friday that it has landed a new original series created by Alex Carry, known for his works in A Spy Among Friends and Homeland, with actor Dakota Fanning set to star and serve as executive producer.

The series will see Fanning play an undercover Treasury agent in a multibillion-dollar international conglomerate with world-shifting political and criminal tendencies. She is caught in the crosshairs of her mission and her feelings for the heir apparent of the conglomerate, who is her mission's target. Popular for I Am Sam and The Twilight Saga films, Fanning also has to her acting credits Ocean's 8, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and The Equalizer 3.

Hailing from Sony Pictures Television, the thriller also has Cary serving as the showrunner under the deal with Sony Pictures Television and his FLW Productions banner. Also serving as executive producers are Julie Gardner, Elle Fanning, Brittany Kahan, and Kari Skogland, who will also be directing the series. Skogland is known for her works such as Smoke, The Loudest Voice, and The Handmaid's Tale.
