Leah Cadwell's worst career nightmare comes in the form of her ex-boyfriend Jarrett Roy, who joins the race for the promotion she is eyeing, in the trailer for Prime Video's Relationship Goals. The trailer for the rom-com movie starring Kelly Rowland as Leah and Cliff Smith as Jarett was unveiled on Wednesday.

The trailer features TV producer Leah, who is excited to make history as the first woman to run New York's top morning show. However, she is taken by surprise when her ex, Jarrett, joins the race for the same position. Having read the New York Times bestselling book 'Relationship Goals', he claims to be a changed man. On the one hand, Leah struggles to deal with her past while competing with her ex in the present. On the other hand, her friends begin to rediscover their aim in love after reading the same book.

Producer DeVon Franklin has developed the feature adaptation of Michael Todd's New York Times bestseller Relationship Goals: How to Win at Dating, Marriage, and Sex with Amazon Studios. The feature is adapted to screen by Michael Elliot (Brown Sugar), Laura Lekkos, and Cory Tynan (Woman Thou Art Loosed).

Robin Thede, Annie Gonzalez, Dennis Haysbert, and Matt Walsh also star in Relationship Goals. Franklin has backed the project under his Franklin Entertainment, through which he has a first-look deal with Paramount Pictures. Linda Mendoza has directed the film, which is set to premiere on the streamer on February 4.
