A lawsuit has been filed against actor-rapper Will Smith, by Brian King Joseph, a violinist who performed alongside Smith, on his tour, reported Variety. The lawsuit alleges sexual harrassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation, by Smith against Joseph.
Joseph is a violinist, who previously appeared on America's Got Talent. He was recruited by Smith in November 2024, to perform at a San Diego show. Joseph was then invited to perform on Smith's Based on a True Story: 2025 Tour.
While on tour in Las Vegas, Joseph reported to the management of the hotel he was staying in, that his bad and his room key was missing. While the bag and key was returned, he later found out that somone unlawfully entered the room, and left behind some wipes, HIV medication, and a note which said, 'Brian, I’ll be back no later (sic) 5:30, just us (drawn heart), Stone F'. Joseph understood this as an signal to an individual's motive, which is to engage in sexual acts.
He later contacted the authorites. Joseph also mentioned that a member of the management team, "shamed" him, and fired him.
