Wonder Man trailer: A struggling actor and a former terrorist fight superhero fatigue

Ben Kingsley is reprising his role as Trevor Slattery from Iron Man 3 (2013) and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021)

Marvel has released a trailer for the upcoming miniseries Wonder Man. Starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley, the miniseries is set to premiere on JioHotstar on January 28.

Wonder Man is created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest. Cretton previously directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021). Cretton also serves as a director on the show.

The cast of the series includes includes Demetrius Goose, Ed Harris, Arian Moayed, Lauren Glazier, Olivia Thirlby, and Zlatko Buric.

The story of Wonder Man is as follows, "Aspiring Hollywood actor Simon Williams is struggling to get his career off the ground. During a chance meeting with Trevor Slattery, an actor whose biggest roles may be well behind him, Simon learns legendary director Von Kovak is remaking the superhero film “Wonder Man”. These two actors at opposite ends of their careers doggedly pursue life-changing roles in this film as audiences get a peek behind the curtain of the entertainment industry."
