Millie Bobby Brown ushered in her 22nd birthday with an intimate gathering in New York City, joined by loved ones, including her Stranger Things co-star David Harbour.

The celebration took place on February 20 at Maison Close Restaurant, a day after her actual birthday on February 19. Brown was photographed arriving with her husband, Jake Bongiovi, along with her mother and grandparents. Harbour, who plays her on-screen father in Stranger Things, was later seen making a low-key entrance. The guest list also included Jamie Campbell Bower, Shawn Levy, Whitney Leavitt, Conner Leavitt and Elena Taber.

The birthday outing came several months after reports surfaced about alleged tensions during the filming of Stranger Things Season 5. According to earlier media coverage, Brown had reportedly filed a complaint related to bullying and harassment on set, which prompted an internal review.

Amid the speculation, Brown addressed her relationship with Harbour in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, stressing the strength of their bond. “We have always been united in that,” she said. “We love this show with everything, and we value our friendship more than anything.”

A day before the dinner, Brown marked the occasion on Instagram with a reflective message alongside a beach photograph. “22. Grateful for my husband and daughter. For my family and friends. All of my animals,” she wrote, adding, “I am so blessed. Thank you for the birthday wishes.”
