Laura Dern and Simone Ashley have joined the cast of Peaked, an upcoming comedy-drama from A24. The ensemble cast of the film also includes Emma Mackey, Levon Hawke, Mitra Jouhari, and Gabby Windey.

Peaked is directed by actor Molly Gordon, who is known for her role in The Bear. Gordon has written the script along with Allie Levitan. Both the director and the writer are also part of the film’s cast. According to reports, the film is set to begin shooting next month.

Levitan is serving as executive producer on the film. Meanwhile, Gordon is serving as a producer along with David Hinojosa and Zach Nutman.

The comedy-drama follows two women, who were bullies in high school, as they reunite with their former victim at their 10-year reunion. Dern was recently seen in Bradley Cooper's Is This Thing On?. Meanwhile, Ashley will be seen in The Devil Wears Prada 2, which is set to release on May 1.
