Orlando Bloom on board Ethan Hawke-starrer The Last of the Tribe

Orlando Bloom, who is known for his roles in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit trilogy, and the Pirates of the Carribean franchise, will also be seen in Werner Herzog's Bucking Fastard

Orlando Bloom is all set to join the cast of the thriller, The Last of the Tribe. The upcoming film is headlined by Ethan Hawke, and also features Brazilian actor Zaya Guarani, reported Variety.

The Last of the Tribe is directed by Claudio Borrelli, from a screenplay by Mark Bailey. Bailey also producer the film with Hawke, Hawke's wife Ryan, Steve Schwartz, Paula Mae Schwartz, and Edward Saxon. Protagonist Pictures, Chockstone Pictures and O2 Filmes are backing the film.

The story of The Last of the Tribe, follows a spent Chicago policeman turned hitman, who is tasked to investigate a murder in the Amazon rainforests of Brazil. His investigation leads him to meet the last surviving member of an indigenous tribe.

Bloom will be seen in Werner Herzog's Bucking Fastard, alongside sisters Kate and Rooney Mara, and Domhnall Gleeson. Bloom is also a part of Wizards!, which is directed by David Michod, known for The King (2018) and Christy (2025). Meanwhile, Ethan Hawke has been nominated for an Oscar, in the Best Actor category, for his performance in Richard Linklater's Blue Moon.
