Actors Samara Weaving (Ready or Not franchise) and Nicholas Braun (Succession) are set to star in the upcoming environmental thriller Hivemind, helmed by Ciaran Foy. The film, which hails from Thunder Road and Badlands, is now filming in Dublin.

The film centres on the evolution of a new breed of killer wasps as authorities in a small town race against time to stop them before it's too late and prevent a deadly global outbreak.

Weaving, who was last seen in the horror-comedy Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, was recently attached to Marvel's upcoming X-Men movie as Emma Frost. Her credits include Over Your Dead Body and Carolina Caroline. Braun, meanwhile, is widely popular for playing Cousin Greg in HBO's Succession. He is coming off a hit with Hugh Jackman-starrer The Sheep Detectives. His next is The Entertainment System Is Down from Ruben Ostlund.
