Actor Tim Curry has passed away at the age of 80, reported Variety. The actor was known for The Rocky Horror Show and the film The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

While the official reason for Curry's passing has not been revealed yet, the news was confirmed by Curry's longtime manager, Marcia Hurwitz. He passed away peacefully at his house in Toluca Lake, Los Angeles. The actor had been reportedly suffering from health issues since 2012.

The actor was born in 1946 in Grappenhall, Cheshire, United Kingdom. Curry started his career as a theatre artist performing in London company's production of Hair.

Curry was known for his roles in Home Alone 2, Scary Movie 2, and as Pennywise the Clown in the IT television series. Other works of Curry includes The Hunt for Red October, The Three Musketeers, Loaded Weapon 1, Muppet Treasure Island, McHale's Navy, Charlie's Angels, Scary Movie 2, Ritual, Kinsey and Addams Family Reunion.
