Oscar winner Emma Thompson investigates explosions, conspiracies, kidnappings in Down Cemetry Road trailer

Apple TV+ has released the trailer for its upcoming series Down Cemetry Road. The thriller, which stars Oscar winner Emma Thompson in the lead, is set to premiere on October 29.

Natalie Bailey serves as the lead director on the series which is adapted from Mick Herron's Down Cemetry Road. Herron is also the author of Slough Horses, which was adapted by Apple into a series, titled Slow Horses, starring Gary Oldman in the lead. Herron and Thompson serve as executive producers along with writer Morwenna Banks, Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta and Tom Nash. 60Forty Films is backing the series.

The rest of the cast of Down Cemetry Road includes Ruth Wilson, Adeel Akhtar, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Darren Boyd, Tom Riley, Adam Godley, Sinead Matthews, Ken Nwosu, Fehinti Balogun and Aiysha Hart.

Sarah Trafford (Ruth Wilson), a resident of a quaint Oxford suburb, pursues the answer she desperately needs, after an explosion rocks her neighbourhood. Sarah enlists the help of a private investigator Zoe Boehm, who is helps Sarah unveil a conspiracy.
