Elle Fanning took to her Instagram to share a few pictures of her recent meeting with Arnold Schwarzenegger. In the caption, Fanning wrote, "Hanging with Dutch!!!!" alluding to Schwarzenegger's iconic character's nickname in 1987's Predator. The actor also said that it was an "honour" for her to meet Schwarzenegger. "Thank you for being so kind," Fanning added.
Fanning also shared a photograph with Schwarzenegger that features a statue of a predator at the back. Speaking of which, Fanning is part of the cast for Predator: Badlands, the upcoming film in the long-running franchise that started with Schwarzenegger's 1987 film.
There were some reports about Fanning and Schwarzenegger starring in Predator: badlands, but the film's makers are yet to confirm the same. Dan Trachtenberg, who worked on Predator: Killer of Killers, is directing the film a Patrick Aison screenplay. The film stars Fanning in multiple roles as Weyland-Yutani, also known as Wey-Yu, synths. Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi plays the titular role of a predator that gets singled out for being so small in comparison with the others in his clan.
Predator: Badlands is slated for a November 07 release in theatres. On the other hand, Arnold's upcoming projects include Kung Fury II: The Movie and The Man with the Bag.
