The makers of Julia Roberts' upcoming film After the Hunt dropped the second trailer on Monday.

The glimpse of the psychological thriller depicts Julia Roberts as a college professor whose past is at risk of getting revealed when she is caught between a sexual abuse accusation involving one of her students and a colleague.

After the Hunt opened to mixed reviews upon its premiere at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival on August 29. The film will get a worldwide release on October 10.

In addition to Roberts, the film's star cast includes Ayo Edebiri, Andrew Garfield, Michael Stuhlbarg, Chloe Sevigny, Lio Mehiel, Ariyan Kassam, Will Price, Thaddea Graham, Christine Dye, and Burgess Byrd.

Directed by Luca Guadagnino with the screenplay from Nora Garrett, After the Hunt is produced by Guadagnino, Brian Grazer, and Allan Mandelbaum.

The technical crew comprises cinematographer Malik Hassan Sayeed, editor Marco Costa, and music composers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

Meanwhile, Roberts is currently filming for her next, Panic Carefully, written and directed by Sam Esmail, which she is also producing. Guadagnino, on the other hand, is working on Artificial, starring Andrew Garfield, a biographical comedy drama based on OpenAI founder Sam Altman.
