Nobody Wants This season 2 adds Seth Rogen and Kate Berlant

Seth Rogen joins the second season of the Netflix series Nobody Wants This, along with Kate Berlant, fresh off his multiple Emmy wins for The Studio

Netflix announced that Seth Rogen and Kate Berlant will be joining the second season of Nobody Wants This. Rogen joins the cast of the series fresh off his Emmy win for The Studio.

Nobody Wants This is created by Erin Foster with Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan joining the second season as co-showrunners. Foster, Konner, and Kaplan are serving as executive producers on the show along with Foster's sister Sara. Speaking to Netflix about Rogen and Berlant's addition to the second season, Konner said, "Seth and Kate's energy together was a dream. When you get brilliant people to come in, it makes your writing and the show better."

Nobody Wants This is led by Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, with the rest of the cast including Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Jackie Tohn, Michael Hitchcock, Stephanie Faracy, Paul Ben-Victor, Tovah Feldshuh, Sherry Cola, and D’Arcy Carden. Joining the second season are Leighton Meester, Brody's wife, Miles Fowler, Alex Karpovsky, and Arian Moayed.

The series follows the relationship between a short-tempered and agnostic podcast host and a rabbi. The second season of Nobody Wants This is set to premiere on Netflix on October 23.

Berlant has appeared in projects like Nobody Wants This, The Bear, Duck Butter, and a small appearance in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Rogen co-created The Studio along with Evan Goldberg. Rogen also directed, wrote, and starred as the lead in the series. He won four Primetime Emmy awards in the categories of Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series.
