A comma has been added to the story of Belly and Conrad, as Prime Video has announced a feature film to conclude The Summer I Turned Pretty series.

The streamer made the announcement at the season 3 finale premiere in France. Jenny Han, whose books were adapted for the series, will be penning the movie along with Sarah Kucserka, providing a definitive ending to the story of Lola Tung's Belly and Christopher Briney’s Conrad.

Speaking about the movie, Jenny Han said, "There is another big milestone left in Belly’s journey, and I thought only a movie could give it its proper due. I’m so grateful to Prime Video for continuing to support my vision for this story and for making it possible to share this final chapter with the fans.”

The official description of The Summer I Turned Pretty reads, “It is a multigenerational drama that hinges on a love triangle between one girl and two brothers, the ever-evolving relationship between mothers and their children, and the enduring power of strong female friendship. It is a coming-of-age story about first love, first heartbreak, and the magic of that one perfect summer.”

The third season finale, which marked the last episode of the entire series, premiered on Wednesday. Belly and Conrad finally unite in Paris, returning back to their summer house in Cousins many years later.

The Summer I Turned Pretty also stars Gavin Casalegno, Jackie Chung, Sean Kaufman, Rain Spencer, David Lacono and Alfredo Narciso. Season Three was led by showrunners Jenny Han and Sarah Kucserka, who also executive produced alongside Karen Rosenfelt, Paul Lee, Hope Hartman, and Mads Hansen of wiip, with the series being co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and wiip.
