Jai Courtney joins cast of Yellowstone-spin-off

Jai Courtney joins The Dutton Ranch, which is a spin-off of Yellowstone, the cast of which is led by Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, and Annette Bening

Jai Courtney, who amongst other things is known for his role as Captain Boomerang in Suicide Squad (2016), will join the cast of The Dutton Ranch. The series, which is a spin-off to Yellowstone, will focus on the characters of Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser).

The Dutton Ranch has Chad Feehan, who has worked with Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan on the latter's series, Lawman: Bass Reeves, is serving as the showrunner. Feehan is serving as an executive producer along with Sheridan, Reilly, and Wheeler, among others. Paramount is backing the series.

According to Variety, Courtney will essay the role of Rob-Will, a hardened ranch foreman. Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, and Finn Little, are reprising their roles are Beth, Rip, and Carter from Yellowstone. Annette Bening recently joined the cast of the series as Beulah Jackson, the head of a big ranch in Texas, USA. Ed Harris will essay the role of Everett McKinney, a compassionate and empathetic veterinarian.

Apart from The Dutton Ranch, other spin-offs of Yellowstone includes Y: Marshals, which will focus on the story of Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes), Beth's brother. Another series, titled The Madison, is being developed with Michelle Pfeiffer in the lead.
