Netflix's The Hunting Wives renewed for a second season

Malin Akerman, who was a part of Zack Snyder's Watchmen (2009), leads the cast of The Hunting Wives

Netflix recently announced that its drama series, The Hunting Wives, will return for a second season. The first season of The Hunting Wives premiered on Netflix on July 21.

The Hunting Wives is based on May Cobb's 2021 novel of the same name. Rebecca Pierce Cutter, created the series, and serves as the showrunner of The Hunting Wives. Cutter serves as an executive producer on the series alongside Cobb and Erwin Stoff.

The cast for the series includes Malin Akerman, Brittany Snow, Dermot Mulroney, Chrissy Metz, Jamie Ray Newman, Katie Lowes, and Evan Jonigkeit.

“I’m so excited to write these amazing characters again,” said Cutter. “And I can’t wait to take the audience on another sexy, twisted, batshit crazy ride through Maple Brook.” Lionsgate and 3 Arts Entertainment are the banners backing the series.
