Actor Tom Holland is elated to have completed a milestone in his sobriety journey. The actor, who has time and again opened up about quitting alcohol, has once again shared his feelings about the same as he celebrated nearly three and a half years of being sober.

"It feels amazing. A little bit like a brand-new identity, almost," Holland said in an interview, as quoted by People.

The actor went on to spill details about his non-alcoholic beer company, Bero and added, "I'm really proud of it. Every day we are making big steps in the right direction, and we are growing every day--thinking of new ways to innovate and coming up with new ideas for products."

Earlier, Tom Holland revealed his issue with overdrinking. He confessed his struggles with alcohol and quoted advice from his lawyer, 'You will never wake up the morning after a night out and wish you had a drink.' "Every Friday after work was a write-off: Let's get drunk and have a good time. I didn't have bad experiences, but I would drink enough so that I would ruin my next day," he revealed.

However, the turning point came for him when he once asked his younger brother to drive back home from a party, as he wanted to drink alcohol to enjoy himself. "It's really helpful when the people closest to you start going, 'Are you sure?'" he shared.

In May 2022, while working on the set of The Crowded Room, the actor faced significant challenges in his journey toward sobriety. Rather than entering rehab, he relied on the support of family, friends, and longtime colleagues to help him through.

Meanwhile, Tom Holland has been occupied with filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth installment in the iconic web-slinger series. The film is being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, and stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man alongside Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Mando, and Tramell Tillman.

The film is slated to hit theatres on July 31, 2026.
