Benoit Blanc has been called for the third time to solve a murder mystery. But this time, he goes the spiritual way, as the victim is a priest. Netflix unveiled the teaser for the third instalment in the Knives Out franchise, Wake Up Dead Man, on Monday.
Josh Brolin plays a priest who is seen murdered after delivering a sermon. His junior, played by Josh O’Connor, seems to have teamed up with Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc to solve the mystery. Multiple suspects and one murder victim in the backdrop of a church. The stakes are higher in this world of Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.
Helmed by Rian Johnson, Wake Up Dead Man also stars Glenn Close, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church. It had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2025.
The film is all set to have a limited theatrical release on November 26, followed by its Netflix premiere on December 12.
