Jeremy Allen White's performance as Bruce Springsteen in the upcoming biopic has been garnering plenty of praise after the film's world premiere at this year's Telluride Film Festival. Recently, singer Bruce Springsteen doubled down on his appreciation for Allen White's performance in Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere. The legendary singer reserved high praise for the actor, best known for his performance in the series The Bear. He said that the actor put "his heart and soul into the role," calling it "a wonderful" performance and quipping that Allen White's depiction of Springsteen fares better in comparison to his own real life persona. It is "a much better looking version of me," said Springsteen, as quoted by People. Springsteen is known worldwide for his songs such as 'Born To Run' and 'Born in the USA,' to name two.
Allen White revealed that he asked "direct questions" to the iconic singer at the start of the film's principal photography, including queries about his experiences at specific points of his life.
