Speaking about being a fan of Alita: Battle Angel, Salazar said, “I’m like, ‘Keep going, keep going.’ I’m one of those. I’m all the bots online doing that.”

Avatar: Fire and Ash is set to release theatrically on December 19. The film sees the conflict between Jake and Neytiri's family with the Ash People of Pandora.

Meanwhile, Cameron is also adapting the book Ghosts of Hiroshima by Charles R Pellegrino. The book follows the story of a man who survives the bombing of Hiroshima, and then catches a train to Nagasaki, when the city is bombed again. The book will mark Cameron's first non-Avatar film since Titanic (1997).
