A new trailer for the upcoming drama Pillion, has been released by the makers. The film, which stars Alexander Skarsgard and Harry Melling in the lead, is set to release in 2026.

The film is written and directed by Harry Lighton, who adapted Adam Mars-Jones' Box Hill. Emma Norton, Ed Guiney, Andrew Lowe, and Lee Groombridge are producing the film. Element Pictures, British Film Institute, and BBC Film are backing Pillion.

The rest of the cast of the film includes Douglas Hodge, Lesley Sharp, Jake Shears, Paul Tallis, and Anthony Welsh.

The story of the film follows a young gay man who gets into a relationship with a charismatic biker. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2025, where it won an award for Best Screenplay. The film also won the Palm Dog award for best performance by canines.
