Zootopia 2 collects over $556 million globally

Zootopia 2 has collected over $556 million globally in its opening weekend, breaking multiple records. The film was released theatrically on November 28.

The animated film holds the highest opening for a film, breaking the record set by Ne Zha 2, reported Deadline. The film also collected Rs 4.85 crores at the Indian box office, according to Sacnilk.

Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman, returns to voice Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps. Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan stars as Gary De’Snake, a homesick member of the eponymous city's secret reptile population. Idris Elba and Nate Torrence return as the Zootopia's police Chief Bogo and receptionist Benjamin Clawhauser. Andy Samberg, David Strathairn, Macaulay Culkin, and Brenda Song appear as the Lynxleys. The cast also includes Quinta Brunson, Patrick Warburton, and Fortune Feimster.

In Zootopia 2, Judy and Nick's partnership, which is not firm yet, is put to the test when they are ordered to pursue the case of a venomous snake entering the city.
