It's a one man conspiracy against seven rich people to inherit 28 billion dollars. Glen Powell is at the centre of How to Make a Killing where he seemingly forms a pact with Margaret Qualley to topple his own family to eliminate competition - all in his mission to gain the fortune he had laid eyes on. Directed by John Patton Ford, the thriller is slated to hit theatres on February 20, 2026.

According to the description, How to Make a Killing follows Becket Redfellow (Powell), heir to a multibillion-dollar fortune, who will stop at nothing to ensure his inheritance, including resorting to violence and killing. It is inspired by filmmaker Robert Hamer's 1949 British crime movie Kind Hearts and Coronets. The film, previously titled Huntington, also stars Ed Harris, Jessica Henwick, Zach Woods, Topher Grace and Raff Law in prominent roles.

Upon release on February 20, the film is set to clash with Psycho Killer and I Can Only Imagine 2.

Ford previously directed his debut film Emily the Criminal (2022), which starred Aubrey Plaza as the titular character, alongside Theo Rossi, Megalyn Echikunwoke, and Gina Gershon in supporting roles.
