The makers of the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic Micheal have released a trailer for the film. Jaafar Jackson, the son of Michael's brother Jermaine Jackson, is portraying Michael in the upcoming biopic.

Michael is directed by Antoine Fuqua, who has directed films like Training Day and The Equalizer. The film is written by John Logan. Michael is produced by Graham King, John Branca, and John McLain. Lionsgate is producing the film, while Universal Studios is handling distribution. The film is set to release in 2026.

The cast of the film also includes Miles Teller, Larenz Tate, Laura Harrier, Nia Long, and Colman Domingo among others.

The film will follow the journey of the King of Pop from his time as part of the Jackson 5, a band he forms with his brothers, to his stardom, and his eventual death in 2009.
