Tom Cruise’s final outing as superspy Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning continues to dominate the Indian box office, racing toward the ₹50 crore milestone in just four days. The action-packed thriller, which opened on May 17 in India, six days ahead of its U.S. release, has outperformed recent domestic releases across languages.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has amassed ₹44.75 crore so far. On Tuesday, it earned ₹5.5 crore, a slight dip from Monday’s ₹5.75 crore, but the film’s strong opening weekend — ₹16.5 crore on Saturday and ₹17 crore on Sunday — has provided a solid foundation. If current trends hold, the movie is expected to cross the ₹50 crore mark in the next couple of days.

A large share of the revenue has come from the original English version, with dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu contributing as well. In terms of theatre occupancy, night shows on Tuesday led the way at 28.30%, followed by evening (19.56%), afternoon (16.27%), and morning shows (7.64%). Chennai topped the city-wise collections with a robust 40.25% occupancy rate, trailed by Kochi (26.50%), Ahmedabad (21.75%), Pune (18.50%), and Mumbai (18%).

The Final Reckoning marks the eighth and concluding chapter in the long-running Mission: Impossible franchise. Cruise, who first played Ethan Hunt in the 1996 original, has steered the series to massive global success with sequels like M:I 2, M:I III, Ghost Protocol, Rogue Nation, Fallout, and Dead Reckoning.

With fan anticipation high and competition looming, the next few days will be crucial in determining just how high this final mission can climb at the Indian box office.
