Billy Howle headline World War 2 survival drama Turret

Set against the World War 2, Turret follows Paul Campbell (Howle), a responsible family man and B-17 turret gunner who is pushed to fight in the already war-torn Europe

Actor Billy Howle, popular for On Chesil Beach, will play the lead in the upcoming World War 2 survival drama Turret. The film comes from Noah C Haeussner and Causeway Pictures. Haeussner has backed Arctic and Causeway has earlier made Senna.

Howle will be joined by Masters of the Air actor Sawyer Spielberg.

Set against the World War 2, Turret follows Paul Campbell (Howle), a responsible family man and B-17 turret gunner who is pushed to fight in the already war-torn Europe. His aerial adversities and eventual survival wound him in his life beyond the battlefield.

The film is co-written and co-directed by Tim Bellen and Chris Haifley. The cinematographer-turned-filmmaker, Bellen, is well-known for his unique visual storytelling style.

Ted Lahane serves as the co-producer, and Robert Lehane and Edwina Forkin as executive producers.
