Actor Tim Roth, a Quentin Tarantino regular (Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and The Hateful Eight) and also known for starring in Planet of the Apes, has joined the star cast of Sandra Sciberras' Seven Snipers.

The under-the-radar action thriller also stars Radha Mitchell, of Olympus Has Fallen fame; Ryan Kwanten, of True Blood fame; and Ioan Gruffudd, of Fantastic Four fame.

The announcement of the star cast came along with the first look, featuring Roth. The film, currently in the post-production stage, is about a retired team of snipers regrouping to combat a warlord who vows vengeance by trying to harm the daughter of the sniper team's leader. Whether or not she can remain ahead of the warlord forms the crux of the film.

Sciberras is making Seven Snipers from a screenplay by Andrew O'Keefe, and she is also producing it along with Tristan Barr. Joining them are Grant Hardie, Phil Hunt and Ian Kirk.
