Netflix has released a new trailer for its upcoming film The Old Guard 2 recently. The film sees the return of Charlize Theron in the lead as Andy.

The official storyline of The Old Guard 2 is as follows: "Andy and her team of immortal warriors are back, with a renewed sense of purpose in their mission to protect the world. With Booker still in exile after his betrayal and Quynh out for revenge after escaping her underwater prison, Andy grapples with her newfound mortality as a mysterious threat emerges that could jeopardise everything she’s worked towards for thousands of years. Andy, Nile, Joe, Nicky and James Copley enlist the help of Tuah, an old friend who may provide the key to unlocking the mystery behind immortal existence."

The cast for the film includes Matthias Schoenaerts, Veronica Ngo, KiKi Layne, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Henry Golding, and Uma Thurman. The film is directed by Victoria Mahoney, from a script by Greg Rucka and Sarah L Walker.

Netflix's The Old Guard 2 is set to stream on Netflix from July 2.
