Noah Baumbach's Jay Kelly is to start streaming on Netflix on December 5. The film, which is described as a heartbreaking comedy, is written by Baumbach and Emily Mortimer, who has acted in the film.

Jay Kelly stars George Clooney, Adam Sandler, Laura Dern, Billy Crudup, Stacy Keach, Riley Keough, Patrick Wilson, Jim Broadbent, Alba Rohrwacher, Grace Edwards, and actor-director Greta Gerwig.

Baumbach has collaborated with Gerwig, his wife, on films like Frances Ha, Mistress America, and Barbie. Baumbach has also directed films like The Meyerowitz Stories, Marriage Story, and While We're Young.

This is the second collaboration between Sandler and Baumbach, with The Meyerowitz Stories being their first. Baumbach previously directed Marriage Story for Netflix.
