Actor Mandy Moore, known for her role in NBC's This Is Us, will team up with comedian Nate Bargatze in the upcoming comedy feature from TriStar Pictures, The Breadwinner, helmed by Eric Appel.

The duo will be joined by Stella Grace Fitzgerald, of Rebel Moon fame; Charlotte Ann Tucker, who will be seen in Thunderbolts; and Birdie Borria, of The Fabelmans fame.

Mandy Moore played the role of Rebecca Pearson for six seasons in the successful NBC series This Is Us, which fetched her Emmy, Critics Choice and Golden Globe nominations. She was previously seen as Benita Alexander in Peacock's Dr Death, starring with Edgar Ramirez.

The Breadwinner, co-written and co-produced by Baragatze and Dan Langna, also has Jeremy Latcham, former Marvel Studios executive, serving as a producer under his Wonder Project banner.

The Breadwinner has the life of Baragatze's character turn on its face after Moore's character, who is par excellence both as a mother and wife, lands a deal on the TV series Shark Tank. Baragatze's character, who up until then was the family's sole breadwinner, is forced to become a stay-at-home husband overwhelmed with the domestic chores he knew little about.
