Dutch filmmaker Michiel Ten Horn's romantic comedy Any Other Night went on floors on Tuesday, with Black Adam actor Marwan Kenzari and The Monkey actor Tatiana Maslany leading the star cast.

The film's star cast is rounded out by Hannah Hoekstra, of Cocaine Bear fame; Mala Emde, of Tomorrow the Entire World; and Nikolai Kinski, of Masters of the Air fame.

The film set in Berlin has a script from Patrick Whistler, whose writing credits include the TV series Cardinal and Creeped Out.

Any Other Night tells the story of a cab driver and a passenger who, by chance, end up spending an unusually long time together—an encounter that becomes the perfect setting for something deeper to ignite. Kenzari plays the cab driver Sam, whose life is on a downward spiral, as he struggles to get his act together while he gets acquainted with a passenger, Maggie (Maslany), fresh off a breakup. They are thrown together owing to the transit strike in Berlin airport. The mad adventures during the night and what they lead to form the crux of the film.

Apart from Any Other Night, Maslany will again team up with The Monkey helmer Osgood Perkins in Keeper and in Apple TV+'s Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed by director David Gordon Green.

Kenzari, who was recently seen in the Netflix series The Night Agent Season 2 opposite Gabriel Basso and Luciane Buchanan, has the sequel to the streamer's Old Guard awaiting its premiere on July 2.
