Chris Hemsworth and Halle Berry's upcoming heist film Crime 101 has locked a release date. The Amazon MGM Studios-backed project directed by Bart Layton, will be released in theatres on February 13, 2026.

Crime 101 is adapted from the eponymous novella from author Don Winslow (The Border), and tells the story of a string of high-level jewel heists up and down the Pacific Coast Highway which has gone unsolved for years, since the perpetrator has lived by a strict code he calls “Crime 101.” The two major characters in Crime 101 are Detective Lou Lubesnick and a lone-wolf jewel thief he is hunting down.

The film has an ensemble cast consisting of Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Tate Donovan, Devon Bostick, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Nick Nolte.

Crime 101 is produced by Working Title’s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, The Story Factory’s Shane Salerno; Raw’s Layton and Dimitri Doganis; and Derrin Schlesinger. Raw’s Joely Fether will executive produce. Apart from playing the lead, Hemsworth will also produce alongside producing partner Ben Grayson.
