Ryan Coogler, who is known for directing the Black Panther films and Creed, talked about Black Panther 3 and Denzel Washington's involvement in the film. He talked to Shannon Sharpe and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson on their Nightcap podcast about his upcoming film Sinners.

Sharpe asked Coogler how long it would take for audiences to see Black Panther 3, and the director replied that it wouldn't be long. When Sharpe asked Coogler about Washington's involvement in the Black Panther sequel, he said, "I have been dying to work with Denzel. And I am hoping to make that happen. But I have every intention of working with him in that movie. And as long as he is interested, it's going to happen."

The official synopsis for the Sinners is, "Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back."

The film stars Michael B Jordan in dual roles as the twin brothers, Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O'Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Benson Miller, Li Jun Li, Lola Kirke, Yao, Miles Caton, Peter Dreimanis, and Delroy Lindo. Jordan has played the lead in almost all of Coogler's films, except Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, in which he made a cameo appearance.

Coogler also produces Sinners under his Proximity Media banner along with Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian. Ludwig Goransson, who won the Oscar for Best Score for Black Panther and Oppenheimer, is an executive producer on the film, with Rebecca Cho and Will Greefield. This is Goransson's fourth collaboration with Coogler, after Fruitvale Station, the Black Panther films, and Creed (2015).

Ryan Coogler's Sinners is set to release theatrically in India on April 18.
