Apple TV+'s The Dispatcher finalizes its cast

Apple TV+'s The Dispatcher has finalised its cast with Maxine Peake, Brendan Cowell, Chloe Geisker, Daniel Henshall, and Jessica Wren. With them, Christian Schwochow has joined as a director and executive producer, reports Deadline.

Based on Ryan David Jahn's novel, The Dispatcher is set in Australia, where detective Ian Hunt is working as a police dispatcher after his daughter Maggie disappeared without a trace ten years ago. He fights to reunite his family when he receives a distress call from a young girl he determines to be Maggie.

Patrick Brammall stars as the lead, Ian Hunt, in The Dispatcher. He has starred in Overlord, New Girl, Colin From Accounts, Evil, Glitch and the animated series Bluey.

The Dispatcher has been adapted into a series by Kris Mrksa. Mrksa also serves as an executive producer with Schwochow, Joanna Werner under Werner Films, and Jamie Laurenson and Hakan Kousetta for 60Forty Films.
