Lizzy Caplan, John Stamos and more to star in thriller comedy, Drag

Production has commenced on Drag, a comedic thriller feature produced by Danny DeVito, Lucy DeVito, and Jake DeVito’s Jersey Films 2nd Avenue. The film showcases a cast featuring Lizzy Caplan, a two-time Primetime Emmy nominee known for Fleishman is in Trouble, alongside Lucy DeVito, recognised from A Sudden Case of Christmas, John Stamos of Big Shot fame, and Christine Ko, acclaimed for her role in The Handmaid’s Tale.

This project marks the feature film directorial debut for Raviv Ullman and Greg Yagolnitzer, who are also responsible for the screenplay. Drag unfolds as a simple burglary in a remote residence escalates into a chaotic ordeal for two inexperienced thieves when one suffers a back injury. The situation rapidly deteriorates as they strive to escape before the homeowner's return.

The film's technical team comprises DOP Ben Goodman, editor Malinda Zehner Guerra, production designer Neil Patel, and costume designer Angel Peart.

Lizzy Caplan was last seen in Robert De Niro's Netflix series, Zero Day. Stamos last voiced the character of Tony Stark in the Disney+ special LEGO Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition (2024).
