The makers of Ballerina, a spin-off of John Wick, released a new trailer for the Ana De Armas starrer on Wednesday.

This trailer depicts de Armas getting into action as Eve Macarro, a Russian ballerina-turned-assassin, who is out for blood following the killing of her family. The glimpse also has Keanu returning as John Wick, who has a showdown with Eve.

Ballerina is set between John Wick: Chapter 3—Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4. de Armas takes the assassin character originally played by Unity Phelan. The film comes two years after the release of the fourth John Wick installment that collected over $440 million with a combined box-office gross of over $1 billion.

The initial filming for Ballerina started in the latter phases of 2022. The film comes under the larger John Wick series, which Chad Stahelski oversees alongside producers Erica Lee and Basil Iwanyk. For those unfamiliar with the Keanu Reeves-starrer, Stahelski helmed all four John Wick films.

The Ballerina cast also includes the late Lance Reddick, Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Norman Reedus, and Catalina Sandino Moreno. Further, the legendary Ian McShane and John Wick star Keanu Reeves are part of the film in small roles. Ballerina is slated to hit the big screen on June 6, 2025.
