A24 has released a new trailer for its upcoming film Materialists. It is directed by Celine Song, who is well known for her feature film debut, Past Lives.

The trailer for the film revealed that Dakota Johnson is playing Lucy, a career-charged matchmaker who reconnects with her ex, John, played by Chris Evans, as and when she meets a wealthy and potential match in Pedro Pascal's character. Materialists also stars Zoe Winters, Dasha Nekrasova, and Lousia Jacobson. Christine Vachon and Pam Koffler of Killer Films and David Hinojosa of 2AM Studios are producing this film.

Celine Song's Past Lives was released in 2023 and starred Greta Lee, Teo Yoo, and John Mogaro. The film, which was also written by Lee, was nominated for Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay at the 96th Academy Awards ceremony.

Celine Song's Materialists is set to release on June 13.
