Hulu's Prison Break reboot casts Emily Browning, Lukas Gage, Drake Rodger

The reboot pilot is set to be in the same world as the original show

Three new series regulars have been added to the Prison Break reboot from Hulu. Emily Browning, Lukas Gage, and Drake Rodger are the leads for the prison drama, which is set to be in the same world as the original show, reports Variety.

In the pilot, Browning plays Cassidy Collins, a former soldier, who becomes a correction officer in one of the deadliest prisons in America. Gage will play Jackson, a politician from a well-to-do background, in his first congressional campaign. Rodger is said to portray Tommy, a prisoner who has been incarcerated for ten years at one of the deadliest prisons in America.

The reboot pilot is written by Elgin James. James serves as an executive producer along with Dawn Olmstead, Marty Adelstein, and Neal Moritz with the creator of Prison Break, Paul Scheuring.

Prison Break was about Lincoln Burrows and Michael Scofield, with Michael ideating a plan to escape the prison that they are incarcerated at to clear Burrows' name. Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller starred as Burrows and Scofield, respectively.
